Job Description:

We are looking to recruit a new veterinary surgeon to join a large veterinary hospital in Leeds as they expand their OOH service offerings. This is a very flexible role with a rota able to be designed to work best for both yourself, and the hospital. We have all the best equipment including a fully equipped ICU, ultrasound, CT scanning, endoscopy suite, operating loupes, slit lamp; and an experienced team of certificate holders in doctrines such as Orthopaedics, ECC Medicine and exotics. As an OOH Vet, you will be supported by a dedicated night RVNs and auxiliary staff already in house, and a great locum network so you will never feel short staffed on shift.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a team overseeing inpatients and emergency calls made to our hospital throughout the night
  • Manage a variety of emergency cases

Requirements:

  • Experienced ECC vet
  • Confidence within OOH care
  • Happy to manage a variety of emergency cases
