Job Description:

A supported living service for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. Some of the individuals who we support may also present with Behaviours that may be described as challenging. The role involves empowering individuals to live as independently as possible, to become integral members of the community and to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements:

  • 12 months experience within a CQC and Autism
  • Flexibility and working some weekends essential
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Ability to provide satisfactory references
  • Male (role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010)
