Job Description:

A supported living service for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. Some of the individuals who we support may also present with Behaviours that may be described as challenging. At Precious, we work by empowering individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Conditions, and other complex needs, to live as independently as possible, to become integral members of the community and to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements:

  • 12 months experience within a CQC and Autism
  • Must be fully flexible
  • Night shift work
  • Working some weekends essential
  • Must be male (role exempt from Equality Act 2010)
  • Will undergo enhanced DBS check
  • Provide satisfactory references

  • Working with families and relevant professionals to keep all parties updated on relevant and necessary information
