Job Description:

Night Support Worker role at Lowfield House Residential Home, Kirton in Lindsey, providing dignified support to residents with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions. Full or part time, with shifts between 8pm and 8am.

Job Responsibility:

  • Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life
  • providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
  • assisting residents to participate in decisions relating to their daily living arrangements
  • assisting residents with personal care and in undertaking recreational activities
  • assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep
  • promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes
  • working with other professionals to provide individualised care and development plans

Requirements:

  • understanding
  • respect for residents' individual abilities
  • prior experience as Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential
  • full training provided
