We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Support Worker to support young adults aged 16-24 who are transitioning from care into independent living. Working overnight, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, calm, and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular welfare checks, responding to any immediate needs, and offering emotional reassurance to young people who may be experiencing anxiety, loneliness, or distress. You will build positive, respectful relationships while maintaining professional boundaries, ensuring each individual feels heard, valued, and safe. Accurate record-keeping and clear communication with the daytime team are essential to ensure continuity of care. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure. Experience working with vulnerable young people is desirable, but not essential-what matters most is your ability to listen, support, and respond with care and professionalism. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, as you will often be working independently during night hours. If you are passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and supporting them towards independence, we would love to hear from you.
