Job Description:

We’re looking for a talented Night Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident chef ready to take ownership, support the team, and maintain exceptional food standards during our night service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications
  • Maintaining Levy standards, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Ensuring all ingredients are stocked and available across the full menu
  • Supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations during your shift
  • Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistent excellence
  • Training and coaching new team members with a positive, respectful approach
  • Monitoring portion control, waste management, and stock rotation
  • Remaining calm under pressure to ensure seamless service
  • Taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience at Sous Chef level or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
  • Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • A genuine passion for food and quality presentation
