We’re looking for a talented Night Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident chef ready to take ownership, support the team, and maintain exceptional food standards during our night service.
Job Responsibility:
Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications
Maintaining Levy standards, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
Ensuring all ingredients are stocked and available across the full menu
Supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations during your shift
Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistent excellence
Training and coaching new team members with a positive, respectful approach
Monitoring portion control, waste management, and stock rotation
Remaining calm under pressure to ensure seamless service
Taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
Requirements:
Previous experience at Sous Chef level or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness
A genuine passion for food and quality presentation
Strong communication skills
Ability to stay composed and focused in a busy kitchen
A team player who inspires and motivates others
Safety shoes (essential requirement)
