This is a fixed term, part-time contract until 31st March 2027, 28.5 hours per week (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday). We have a part-time vacancy (fixed term contract) for a Night Shift Team Member. The main purpose of the job is to understand and work with adults who may have experienced trauma linked to homelessness, addiction, mental or physical health needs, family breakdown, criminal activity and other disadvantages. The post holder will be part of a team providing person centred and trauma informed support to single homeless people living within homeless services accommodation and will be responsible for the safety and welfare of those we are supporting during the night. You will be working across these two projects - The Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub, Bishopbridge House.
Job Responsibility:
Understand and work with adults who may have experienced trauma linked to homelessness, addiction, mental or physical health needs, family breakdown, criminal activity and other disadvantages
Provide person centred and trauma informed support to single homeless people living within homeless services accommodation
Responsible for the safety and welfare of those we are supporting during the night
Requirements:
Someone with the passion and drive to support anyone finding themselves in this situation
Evidence of emotional resilience and tenacity to provide support, even when faced with resistance
Experience of supporting people who have poor mental health, addictions or who are ex-offenders
Ability and willingness to be flexible
Someone to demonstrate confidence, adaptability and conscientiousness, have empathy with the people we support and the determination to make a difference
