Cranswick Country Foods Prepared Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, as a Hygiene Team Leader.

Requirements

  • Supervise factory hygiene operatives to achieve and maintain high standards of performance, development, safety, hygiene and discipline
  • Daily report to your Manager of issues and actions already taken
  • Ensure all department responsibilities are carried out as per schedules and all issues are reported and dealt with within the set timescales
  • Ensure all technical paperwork is completed accurately and fully
  • Responsible for the training, mentoring and coaching of the team
  • Ensure the effective training and review of hygiene operatives to a high degree of competency
  • Work with factory management in ensuring the hygiene function is carried out within the area, meeting set KPI’s and GMP standards
  • Take a weekly stock of cleaning chemicals and equipment report same to the Hygiene Manager
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and in hygienic condition
  • Where repair/replacement is required, to report same to Manager in a timely manner
  • Ensure the chemicals are kept clean, tidy and secure at all times
  • Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post
  • Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors

  • Being responsible for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire club and offices
  • Being responsible for the leadership and operational running of the housekeeping department and team with the support of the Director of People and Culture
  • Managing housekeeping budgets, including cost controls with regards to labour, agency, ordering of relevant items and managing of all supplier relationships
  • Ensuring your team and any agency staff working are fully briefed on our expectations prior to the start of their shift and conduct routine inspections
  • Analysing housekeeping products and suppliers and being aware of new trends in the industry making suggestions for improvements
  • Checking for faults or damage and work alongside the Chief Engineer to arrange repairs and routine maintenance work
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and hygiene within our club and offices adhering to COSSH guidelines
  • Participating in vendor sourcing and quality control of all housekeeping department related suppliers
  • Organising routine and specialist cleaning including window cleaning for the club and our offices
  • Being responsible for the organisation, ordering and par levels of inventories for linen, uniform, and all other fixed assets
