Cranswick Country Foods Prepared Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, as a Hygiene Operative. An exciting new opportunity has arisen for Operatives to join the busy Hygiene team at the Prepared Poultry site due to business growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assume responsibility for ensuring the hygiene standards are maintained on site
  • Prepare all production areas
  • Prepare changing area (including all fabric – walls, doors, floor etc)
  • Prepare all machinery
  • Prepare surfaces
  • Prepare chillers
  • Prepare any other requested areas of Hygiene
  • Check completion of technical audit paperwork
  • Visually appraise completed hygiene routines and protocols
  • Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post
  • Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors

Requirements:

  • Full hygiene training will be given on site
  • Buddying up with an experienced member of the Hygiene team
  • Chemical Training (Fully Certified by our Chemical Supplier)
  • Machine Specific Training
  • Area Specific Training
  • Use of Cleaning Equipment Training
  • Ensure you always wear the appropriate personal protection equipment
