Job Description:

Night Senior Support Worker role at Hayward Care Centre in Devizes, supporting the Home Manager and leading a team of carers to deliver compassionate, individualised residential, dementia and respite care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a small team to deliver outstanding care
  • Plan and implement care giving residents security, dignity, and independence
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Manage time between supporting team and ensuring wellbeing of residents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a residential care setting
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Positive role model
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Natural ability to get along with others
  • Supportive individual
  • Able to motivate others
  • Confident taking charge
  • Able to use own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries
  • Willing to work night shifts

Nice to have:

  • Previous supervisory experience
