RMN (Nights) - Rowan unit, Tag Lane, Preston. 33, or 44hour contract- 12hour shifts 8pm- 8am on a rota basis with every other weekend availability requited. About Rowan Unit: Rowan Unit is a 19 bed facility supporting adults with complex needs including Dementia plus, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, Brain injury, enduring mental health conditions and behavioural support requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Advising and working closely with the Care Team to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents
Ensuring everyone is treated with respect and each individual’s care plan is met
Regularly reviewing and completing all documentation as required
Ensuring that the appropriate documentation reflects the care given and any clinical intervention
Leaving clear, concise and personalised instructions for ongoing care delivery
Monitoring and controlling residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
Supporting, guiding and leading the team to ensure the safety of residents and staff
Requirements:
Currently registered with NMC for appropriate client group (valid PIN number)
Have relevant care home experience
Have experience in medication administration, wound care, infection control and pressure area care
Be a team player
Have an eye for accuracy
Be proactive and enthusiastic
Be passionate about delivering high-quality care
Strong communication skills
Good leadership skills
The ability to use initiative
Good time management & organisation
