Job Description

As a Night Public Space Attendant at The Highlands you play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality by keeping the hotel looking clean and inviting, timely guest assistance and property knowledge. 3:30pm to Midnight shift.

Job Responsibility

  • Obtain a list of areas that need to be cleaned immediately and a list of prospective spaces to monitor to prepare work assignments
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Clean all outdoor patio areas and furniture
  • Ensure the cleaning checklist for the area is complete and inspect work to meet standards of cleanliness
  • Restock storage closets
  • Respond to Guest requests for additional supplies or information promptly
  • Clean, stock, and maintain pool areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, public common areas, arcades, and elevators
  • Empty and clean all waste and recycling receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters or appropriate recycling containers
  • Move furniture, dust furniture, and wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills as needed
  • Comply with our recycling program
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (Vacation Homes and Nights Only)
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to perform all aspects of custodial duties, including bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be at least 16 years old
