Night Porter

• Manage front-desk operations during the night shift
• Be the key point of contact for guests
• Ensure a seamless and secure overnight experience
• Create a safe, comfortable environment
• Maintain smooth operation of hotel services throughout the night
• Manage late check-ins and early check-outs
• Reconcile charges from the previous day
• Be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests
• Ensure smooth communication with guests and team members through the portable phone
• Monitor key handling
• Turn off lights in unoccupied rooms
• Assist guests with any needs
• Oversee night-time cleaning operations to ensure all areas are prepared for the following day
• Balance financial accounts
• Report any maintenance issues
• Be prepared to manage emergency situations when needed
• Attend regular training sessions and team meetings

Experience of comparable work in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred
