Night Porter

• Providing friendly and efficient bar service between 9:00pm–12:00am
• Closing and securing the bar, including cash procedures and stock checks
• Completing light cleaning tasks across public areas to maintain presentation standards
• Acting as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests or minor issues
• Carrying out regular safety and security checks across the premises
• Monitoring building access and ensuring all areas are secured overnight
• Recording incidents or maintenance needs and preparing clear handover notes

• Ability to work independently and stay alert during night shifts
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, trustworthy approach with a sense of responsibility
• Willingness to learn — hospitality experience is helpful but not required
• Confidence in handling small issues calmly and professionally
• Basic awareness of health, safety, and security practices
• A proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean and well-presented environment
