Night Manager

• Host guests brilliantly by welcoming them professionally and warmly
• check-in/check-out guests
• answer calls from in-house and outside guests
• collate and audit cashiering shifts
• pass relevant information to the Finance Department
• maintain the security of the hotel, room floors, F&B outlets, guest vehicles, and guests
• conduct scheduled security walks
• oversee completion of Night Auditor/Night Porter duties
• ensure WHS procedures are understood by staff
• address maintenance issues during shift
• prepare and deliver room service
• notify relevant HODs if food preparation/delivery items are not pre-arranged.

• Basic accounting and data entry
• computer literacy
• fantastic time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• accuracy and attention to detail
• experience with conflict resolution and guest complaints
• ability to create personal connections with guests
• excellent oral and written communication skills
• competence with OPERA Software or similar
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• flexibility with working weekends
• up-to-date RSA and driver’s license
• ability to work evening shifts 11pm – 7am over a rotating roster
• previous Night Audit experience (advantage).
