Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with all departments
Provide coaching to achieve Evolve behavior & benchmark standards of supervisor/Officers
Direct staff that performs the following duties and also perform these duties on own: welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations, and handle credit or payment method
Work closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries, and special requests during night shift
Work closely with Guest Service Manager, Guest Relations Manager, and Chief Concierge as needed for smooth daily operations
Assist in other areas of the department as needed
Manages the activities at the Front Desk during the overnight shift. Directs staff. Ensures communication and follow-up with day shift on problems, guest requests, or special requirements
Frequently tours the hotel and monitors the activities of all other departments to ensure standards are met and staff and guest needs are supported
Handles guest relocations according to established guidelines
Plans next day’s activities by reviewing late arrivals, early departures, and billing requirements. Coordinates arrivals, departures, room assignments, and special requests
Resolves guest complaints and handles all interactions with high hospitality and professionalism
Utilizes hotel systems to manage check-ins/outs, reports, night audit, and room blocks
Prepares Morning Briefing packages including Briefing Sheet, Glitch Report, VIP/Elite Guest activity, arrivals and departures
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager/Director of Rooms
To help drive upsell program and have a strategy to achieve it
Contribute in maintaining and controlling expenses
Requirements:
College Education or equivalent
At least 3 years with Hotels, preferably in a front of house position or has been 3 years or more in supervisory level
Strong communication and writing skills in both Japanese and English (Business level) required
Familiar with Opera PMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other hotel systems
Knowledgeable in guest services, credit card handling, and basic in-room troubleshooting
Knowledge of local high-end restaurants and hotel/nearby activities
