Job Description:

Adept Care Homes provide high-quality residential and dementia care in family-run, Midlands-based care homes. You will be joining the team at Bowood Court & Mews Care Home, a welcoming 59-bed residential home in Enfield, Redditch, offering affordable, high-quality care. As Night Manager, you will oversee night-shift operations, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents while leading and supporting a dedicated team of care staff to maintain excellent standards of care throughout the night. You will receive a thorough induction along with ongoing online and face-to-face training to support your development. Adept Care is committed to nurturing staff who share its values, prioritising residents’ needs, and delivering a continuously improving, high-quality service to create a supportive and rewarding environment for both residents and staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and support care staff during the night shift, ensuring adherence to care plans and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Oversee the delivery of personalized care to residents with dementia, demonstrating empathy and understanding in challenging situations
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess residents' needs, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Manage administrative tasks, including documentation, reports, and updating resident records accurately
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and continuity of care between shifts

Requirements:

  • Previous Team Leader or Deputy Manager experience (essential)
  • NVQ 3 in Direct Care is (essential)
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and communications skills
  • Own car required and business miles paid
  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Positive and caring attitude (essential)
