We would like to invite applications for part-time Night Hatch Attendant to join the team in The Tipperary Town Plaza. PLEASE NOTE: The Night Hatch Attendant position is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role requires full flexibility to work night shifts on these specified days. This position requires full flexibility to work night shifts. "Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be over 20 years old." Job Purpose: To assist the Retail & Forecourt Manager in supervising the site and operations therein, during the nighttime period. The Shop will be closed to the public, however, limited services will be offered by you via the night hatch. "Only candidates currently living in Ireland and allowed to work here will be considered."
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the hatch is manned at all times
Induct and train new nighttime employees
Communicate operational matters to daytime staff and provide handover for outstanding issues
Ensure high-quality and consistent customer service
Carry out night duties regarding cleaning or servicing of equipment (coffee machines, etc.)
Conduct stocking-up duties during quiet periods
Clean tea/coffee machines and perform support duties during quieter times
Assist the retail and forecourt manager in effective management of the retail store and forecourt
Communicate customer requests at night and bring forward new ideas for improving service
Ensure potential hazards are identified and reduced or eliminated
Assist the manager in minimising stock loss through wastage, damages, and pilferage
Ensure food management and waste systems are adhered to
Ensure the store is merchandised in a customer-friendly and competitive manner
Ensure stock is rotated appropriately to ensure in-date stock is available
Requirements:
Must be over 20 years old
Must currently live in Ireland and be allowed to work there
