Night Forklift Operator

• Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across a dynamic cross-dock environment
• Efficiently load and unload various trailers, ensuring balanced weight distribution and secure freight
• Work independently to prioritize shipments based on strict departure schedules
• Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy
• Identify and report damaged goods, and maintain a clean, organized dock floor for the morning crew

• Valid Forklift Certification is strictly required
• 1–2 years of proven experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift
• Previous experience in a cross-dock or LTL freight environment is a major asset
• Must be available for afternoon training before transitioning to the permanent night shift
• Must have own CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility g
