Job Description:

IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome two Night Warehouse Operatives to join their hard-working fulfilment team. This is a nightshift role. The position is 18 hours a week with weekend work and flexibility can be discussed during the interview. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, replenishing shelves, loading/unloading deliveries, and adhering to safety regulations. Job Responsibility:

You ensure products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Operate and work around other heavy machinery, such as other forklift trucks, counterbalance, and pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for both customers and co-workers
Replenishment of the store, operating the forklift to make sure all the shelves are full and ready for our customers
Responsible for loading and unloading of the deliveries.

Requirements:

Previous forklift experience is preferred, however full training will be provided
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workload efficiently, with a keen attention to detail
Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
