The Food & Beverage Night Cleaner is responsible for deep cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all Food & Beverage outlets, kitchens, and back-of-house areas during overnight hours. This position ensures all restaurant and kitchen facilities are cleaned, organized, and ready for the next day’s operations. The Night Cleaner upholds Dellshire Resort’s cleanliness standards and plays an essential role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and professional environment that supports the resort’s overall guest experience.
Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed cleaning of kitchens, bars, restaurants, and banquet service areas after daily operations close
Clean and sanitize floors, walls, drains, hoods, filters, and kitchen equipment according to established cleaning schedules
Deep clean grills, fryers, ovens, steamers, and other cooking appliances safely and effectively
Wash, sanitize, and organize trash bins, racks, and service carts
Remove trash, recycling, and food waste from all Food & Beverage areas and dispose of properly
Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and chemicals as needed for the next day’s shifts
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and dish machines
Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all OSHA and resort safety standards
Inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs to the Executive Steward or Engineering team
Ensure all equipment and storage areas are left in proper working order and ready for morning operations
Maintain organization in storage rooms, chemical closets, and janitorial stations
Support sustainability and recycling initiatives in accordance with Dellshire Resort policies
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards as defined by local and state health regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in custodial, kitchen cleaning, or stewarding roles
resort or hotel environment preferred
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals used in commercial kitchens and restaurants
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and reliability
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace
Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
