Job Responsibility:

  • Take responsibility for physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of residents
  • Assist residents with personal care activities (washing, hygiene, dressing, meals)
  • Deliver care from the heart
  • Ensure residents never lose dignity or individuality
  • Get involved in general activities
  • Help someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid
  • Offer emotional support
  • Deliver end-of-life care
  • Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect
  • Know what to do if there are concerns
  • Attend safeguarding training
  • Seek appropriate advice and report concerns
