Job Description:

This position is responsible for the overall guest service and satisfaction of the department, works directly with supervisor/manager with the daily shift activities of the Departments. This individual’s primary responsibility is to take care of evening guests and finalize the daily reports and funds. Ensures that they follow all rules and regulations and that all company expectations are maintained.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure effective and efficient services are delivered to guests
Review and understand trends in reservations
Have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies
Run and review daily logs and reports
Audit and finalize daily reports for accounting
Ensure credit card transactions have finalized and reports printed
Help mentor new hires
Help supervisor/manager train new employees
Help cover for staff as necessary
Identify ways to increase efficiency or improve products and services
Remain alert to any unusual or questionable activity
Maintain excellent working relationships with other company staff, vendors, and contractors

Requirements:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred
Hotel experience preferred
Customer Service and Communications experience preferred
Must be punctual and dependable
Read, write, and speak English
Protect Company’s value by keeping information confidential
Perform assigned tasks under supervision
Establish and maintain positive relationships
Utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level
Exercise sound judgment
Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to provide work authorization documents (I-9 Forms)
Required to pass a drug test
Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice to have:

Hotel experience
Customer Service and Communications experience
An equivalent combination of experience
