Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for overseeing front desk duties during the night shift including check-in and check out
  • reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests
  • acting as a point of communication for customer needs
  • check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
  • control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures
  • audit and reconcile all revenue postings
  • reconcile arrivals and departures while processing financial transactions to ensure payment is received
  • resolve guest concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
  • be well-versed in emergency procedures and act as the manager on duty alongside overnight security
  • balance rooms daily
  • comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • perform any other job related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a hotel night auditor is required
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English
  • Marriott brand, service, and systems knowledge is highly preferred
