Job Description

As a NICU RN, you'll work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide care for newborns that are either sick or premature. NICU RNs specialize in medical care for newborns at a variety of levels, from intensive, life-saving measures to rehabilitation and nourishment, so you must be well-versed in infant care. Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure. Travel healthcare professionals are experienced caregivers who adapt quickly to change and enjoy learning new things.   • Plans care appropriately based on needs identified during initial and on-going assessments.
  • Provides holistic, comprehensive, and professional nursing care to patient within the scope of practice.
  • Prepares patient for discharge and assists with coordinating post discharge needs.
