Job Description

Optegra has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced NHS patient services administrator to join our amazing and dedicated contact centre team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and benefit from our fantastic comprehensive benefits package, along with fully funded training and development programs. Please note the role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 day working from home, and 4 weeks of induction/training will be conducted at our Manchester office.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment
  • Administrative duties including booking appointments and taking phone calls
  • Lead the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector
  • Commercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical care
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
  • Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
  • Highly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other systems/databases
  • Experience of building and maintaining exceptional relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
