Job Responsibility:
Participate in a comprehensive training program through the Supply Chain Academy
Gain exposure to all core areas of Direct Procurement, including supplier management, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and category strategy development
Shadow experienced procurement professionals to learn sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, market trends, and negotiation best practices
Work with digital procurement tools and systems, supporting automation and data‑driven decision‑making
Manage purchase orders end‑to‑end, including tracking and expediting, to ensure cost‑efficient and on‑time delivery of materials and services
Ensure timely delivery of items and expedite when necessary to avoid operational delays
Support purchasing activities by interacting with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment with business needs
Support the development of commodity/category strategies and maintain preferred supplier listings
Search for, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across direct and indirect categories
Monitor supplier performance and report insights to relevant stakeholders
Conduct routine supplier business reviews to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement
Identify opportunities for standardization, process optimization, and efficiency improvements
Assist in negotiating local contracts in collaboration with procurement managers
Develop and support negotiation strategies to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms
Manage bidding, awarding, and administration of project‑related supply and service purchase orders
Negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal pricing, payment terms, and value‑added benefits
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and process inefficiencies
Support cost‑management activities by assessing pricing changes and identifying potential savings
Prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting key procurement metrics, supplier performance, and project progress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
0–1 year of experience in procurement (up to 2 years is a plus)
Solid understanding of purchasing contracts and procurement fundamentals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic negotiation knowledge and willingness to develop advanced skills
Market awareness and ability to work effectively across functions, businesses, and regions
Nice to have:
