Job Description:

Full-time nanny position for a newborn in Sloan’s Lake, Denver. The family seeks a long-term nanny to become an extension of their household, caring for their 6-week-old baby girl. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with guaranteed 45 hours per week. The family has one dog. Start date is the end of January 2026.

Job Responsibility:

  • All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and primarily baby-related tasks
  • Light household tasks include: tidying up, occasional errands, grocery pick up, and light meal prep
  • No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19

Nice to have:

  • 5+ years of professional nanny experience with infants
  • An education background is preferred but not a requirement
  • A certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) would get special consideration
  • The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, a good communicator, an educator and is seeking a family to grow with for the next several years
