Job Description:

We're hiring a New Verticals Lead to launch and scale Avoca into new markets. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and customer execution. Working directly with the Head of New Verticals, you'll take new verticals from early exploration to repeatable revenue, defining entry strategy, leading design partner pilots, translating customer insights into product direction, and building the GTM playbooks that convert early traction into scalable deployments. This is not a strategy-only role. You are responsible for outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own 0 → 1 Vertical Expansion
  • Define ICP and segmentation for each new vertical
  • Identify high-ROI workflows and entry wedges
  • Structure and launch early design partner pilots
  • Establish success metrics and expansion plans
  • Turn pilots into repeatable, revenue-generating deployments
  • Operate Directly With Customers
  • Lead discovery and implementation calls
  • Engage executive stakeholders and operators
  • Coordinate integrations and mobilize internal resources
  • Travel to customer sites when needed
  • Operate confidently in front of senior stakeholders—C-suite, PE fund MDs, and multi-location operators
  • Drive Product Alignment
  • Translate field insights into structured product briefs
  • Partner closely with Engineering to scope and prioritize features
  • Balance speed with long-term product clarity
  • Ensure what we build scales across customers
  • Build a Repeatable GTM Motion
  • Refine vertical positioning and messaging
  • Support Sales on qualification frameworks and pilot design
  • Develop early case studies and ROI narratives
  • Identify and validate signals of product-market fit

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience in consulting, product, or high-growth startups
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Ability to move fluidly between executive conversations and detailed execution
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication

Nice to have:

Bonus points for experience in vertical SaaS or AI-enabled products, working with multi-location operators or PE-backed businesses, or direct customer-facing / field experience in B2B.
