At Buzzworks, we are more than just a hospitality group – we are a community. With 22 vibrant venues (and growing) across Scotland, we deliver incredible food, great drinks, and unforgettable experiences in neighbourhood venues people love. From stylish cocktail bars and late-night venues to high-energy restaurants and our growing estate of venues with rooms, our bar offering is at the heart of the Buzzworks experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a New Openings Bar Manager to play a key role in bringing new venues to life, leading bar teams from the ground up and setting the standard for drinks, service and atmosphere from day one. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two openings are the same, ideal for someone who thrives on variety, pace and making an impact.

Manage stock, ordering and controls to deliver against GP and operational targets
Create atmosphere, energy and theatre behind the bar and across the venue
Maintain high standards in quality, service, safety and compliance
Adapt quickly across different venues, teams and operational challenges
Support newly acquired venues, helping stabilise bar operations and introduce Buzzworks standards
Embed bar standards and team capability post-opening to ensure long-term success
Requirements:
Experienced Bar Manager or senior bar leader within a high-volume environment
Confident in cocktails, drinks service and leading from the front
A natural trainer and coach who builds strong, capable teams
Commercially aware, with experience managing stock, GP and performance

Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
Hands-on, energetic and passionate about delivering great hospitality
