Job Responsibility:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales/closing goals through disciplined execution, urgency, and a competitive drive
  • Take full ownership of the buyer journey by qualifying prospects, uncovering needs, and confidently converting interest into contracts
  • Maximize community traffic by treating every interaction as a sales opportunity and maintaining focus on performance metrics
  • Execute persistent, strategic follow-up to build momentum and secure buyer commitments
  • Effectively present and drive adoption of the preferred lender, achieving targeted capture rates through value-based conversations
  • Maintain expert knowledge of local market competition, pricing, and incentives to position homes competitively
  • Guide buyers through the entire new construction process from design, financing, construction, and closing to ensure timelines and expectations are met
  • Demonstrate mastery of home features, pricing, and design options to clearly communicate value and support confident buying decisions
  • Fully utilize UMH sales technology and CRM tools to manage pipelines, contracts, and customer communication with accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of proven success in new home sales, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Self-motivated, driven mindset with the ability to work independently, generate leads, and manage priorities with minimal oversight
  • Strong command of sales fundamentals, including product demonstrations, consultative selling techniques, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences while representing the brand professionally
  • Technology-forward and detail-oriented, with proficiency in CRM systems and business software (e.g., HubSpot, Bricks, DocuSign, SharePoint, Aircall, and similar tools)
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and social platforms to support prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance required for business-related travel between communities
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background screenings
