Our New Graduate Programme is now open for applications for 2026! Embarking on a career in veterinary medicine is more than just a job choice; it’s a heartfelt commitment to the welfare and care of animals. Recognising how pivotal the transition from university to clinical practice can be, Animal Trust has designed a new Graduate Programme, created by vets, for vets, to help you build the confidence, competence, and compassion needed for a fulfilling career. Our two-year structured Graduate Programme is designed to nurture, support and empower newly qualified vets as they take their first steps into practice life. You’ll gain hands-on experience, clinical confidence, and lifelong skills through guided learning and dedicated mentorship — all within a friendly, collaborative environment. This programme offers a balanced mix of clinical exposure, ongoing education, and pastoral care so that you can develop your career at your own pace, surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you thrive. Our Teesside 24/7 hospital is seeking a new graduate vet to join our experienced team as they grow our hospital caseload in the North East. This is a great opportunity to develop your skillset in a busy hospital environment being exposed to hospitalised and sick pet cases, with the support of experienced clinicians delivering GP, inpatient and complex surgical caseloads. This is your chance to launch your veterinary career in a purpose-driven organisation where compassion, learning, and teamwork come first. You’ll be surrounded by supportive colleagues, experienced mentors, and a diverse caseload that will stretch your skills and inspire your growth.
