Job Responsibility:
Provide compassionate and competent direct patient care under the guidance of experienced nursing staff
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate documentation of patient responses
Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their holistic needs are met
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote wellness and prevent complications

Requirements:
Valid/Active Registered Nurse license (must be obtained prior to start date)
Successful completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Diploma Nursing Program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association is required
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (unit dependent)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Adept at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and adapting to fast-paced and changing environments
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Willingness to learn, receive constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive learning environment
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications
Compliance with HIPPA standards
