New Construction Electrical Foreman

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as a working Foreman, leading commercial and residential new construction job sites
  • Expertly install wiring and electrical equipment through each stage of construction, from rough-ins to finish-outs
  • Manage material orders, supervise electrical mechanics, and ensure adherence to project schedules
  • Read and understand architectural prints and utilize thorough knowledge of NEC code requirements to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with different leveled electricians, foremen, and other trades in a team-oriented environment
  • Provide guidance and share knowledge with electricians who are just starting in the trade, fostering a culture of lifelong learning
  • Utilize clear, professional communication with general contractors, internal trades, and team members
  • Take pride in completing all jobs and paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner

Requirements

  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience as a Foreman on Commercial New Construction projects is required
  • OSHA-10 Certification is required
  • Valid and current driver’s license with an insurable driving record
  • Expert knowledge and active enforcement of the NEC code book
  • Proficiency with technology to work from an iPad and the ability to type a professional email
  • Strong drive to do the job right the first time and a commitment to continuous growth in the trade

Nice to have

  • A Journeyman’s or Master’s license is a significant plus
  • An Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school is beneficial but not required

  • Complete job closeout process including resolution of punch list items, recording of as-built drawings to reflect all changes to originals, and distribution of all operating and maintenance manuals to customer
  • Strengthen customer relationships through hosting and/or participating in company-supported events
