Job Description

Major Players are partnering with an innovative, award-winning production powerhouse, who are looking to hire a bright, articulate and driven Business Development Manager to continue their impressive growth and drive new business wins. The successful candidate will be results-driven and strategically minded, in order to generate prospects with renowned brands and be confident in targeting senior clients (C-suite / senior management) by email, LinkedIn and phone.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive new business opportunities with reputable and exciting brands
  • Assist the CEO in designing commercial strategic plans for revenue growth
  • Work with production, creative and design departments to respond to commercial opportunities
  • Contact clients via LinkedIn, email and phone to set up meetings, generate leads and win business
  • Attend events and meetings to scout for new commercial opportunities and build relationships
  • Work with the marketing department to ensure all comms are succinct with winning commercial opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience (at mid-weight level) working in a new business/business development role within an agency, production company or publisher
  • Concrete knowledge of the industry landscape and the production process
  • Exceptional communication and persuasive skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid understanding of new business tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce (or another CRM platform)
  • Be a self-starter with an ability to generate, follow up on and manage leads
