New Business Implementation Consultants at Fourth play a critical role in bringing our payroll solutions to life for customers, while also gaining exposure to Fourth’s broader suite of products. In this role, you’ll own the payroll onboarding and implementation journey from kick-off through go-live, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and confident payroll launches that support daily business operations across the United States. You’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and project lead, guiding customers through payroll discovery, configuration, data validation, testing, and training, while navigating complex requirements along the way. As you grow in the role, you’ll also deepen your knowledge of additional Fourth solutions, expanding your delivery expertise across our platform. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, you’ll help ensure each customer is set up for long-term success and experiences real value from Fourth’s technology. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you'll have an opportunity to make meaningful impact and take ownership of successful outcomes across a wide variety of implementation projects. Job Responsibility:
Own and manage the onboarding and activation phase for assigned U.S. projects, ensuring timely and successful go-lives
Serve as the primary implementation point of contact for customers, guiding them through discovery, configuration, training, and launch readiness
Manage onboarding timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain delivery commitments
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to align on scope, expectations, and handoffs
Proactively identify and support resolution of onboarding challenges and implement scalable process improvements to drive consistency and efficiency
Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Fourth’s platform, products, integrations, and release roadmaps to support informed implementation decisions
Lead multiple concurrent onboarding engagements, balancing priorities and ensuring effective time and workload management
Develop, maintain, and deliver onboarding and training materials for internal and external stakeholders
Complete required system configuration, data entry, and data migration activities, including account setup and QA
Capture, document, and track customer feedback, issues, and enhancement requests to support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex technological implementation and onboarding projects simultaneously while balancing time-sensitive priorities and stakeholder communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience delivering successful implementation projects through a high level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
Comfortable working in environments where priorities may shift as solutions are refined
Intellectually agile with the ability to quickly learn new products and tools, and adapt to evolving processes
