Job Description:

Locum Neurosurgery Physician Job in Flagstaff, AZ. Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 3 week locum Neurosurgery Physician job in Flagstaff, Arizona, paying $3,500/day - $4,000/day.

Job Responsibility:

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neurosurgical procedures to the brain, spine and peripheral nerve surgeries, among others
Evaluate patients through physical examinations, imaging studies and diagnostic tests to determine the need for surgical intervention
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Provide preoperative and postoperative care
Monitor and interpret patient conditions during and after surgery, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
Residency training program in neurosurgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
Board certification in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or an equivalent certifying body
Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona
At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting
