NonStop Care is working with a well-established Health and Social Care Provider in Hildenborough Kent, to find a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate for Neurology and would like to work in a rehabilitation hospital. This is a Level 2 Neuro Rehab hospital. All patients – had a pre-assessment, which will determine whether they benefit of staying in the rehab hospital or not. They also have long term patients – This is their home. Hospital is in a beautiful setting – very easy to take the patients outside and nature, sitting with patients outside, in the wooded area, helps with relaxation. The building has all the patients rooms, but they also have individual flats, got their own kitchen, living room. This is part of their rehabilitation – if they got their level of independence, patients are moved into this when independent.

Job Responsibility:

  • Band 8a Clinical psychologist
  • Will lead the delivery of neuropsychology interventions for patients with neurological conditions
  • Working in a interdisciplinary rehabilitation team

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working as Clinical Psychologist either in Neuro or Mental health
  • Must have registration with HCPC as a Clinical Psychologist

  • Communicates assessment findings in a clear and concise manner to credentialed neuropsychologist
  • Assist credentialed providers with identifying diagnostic considerations or treatment strategies based on test findings, as well as providing patient education where necessary
  • May be asked to provide basic treatment or rehabilitation of patients with compromised brain functioning, under the supervision of a licensed provider
  • Observe, monitor, report, and record patient interaction and presentation during assessment sessions
  • Explains neuropsychological services and procedures to patient and/or care providers as necessary
  • Assists in, or arranges for patient referral to other facilities for continuation of care
