Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity for a Neurology specialist is available at an outpatient clinic in Santa Monica, CA. This locum tenens position focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient neurological services with a flexible schedule. The clinic operates with no on-call responsibilities and allows you to work independently while providing detailed patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform patient assessments and complete charting by end of the day
  • Conduct follow-ups on test/lab results with patients
  • Manage a variety of neurological conditions including headaches, migraines, and epilepsy
  • Administer treatments such as Botox and nerve blocks

Requirements:

  • Active CA license and DEA
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • Minimum 2-3 years of outpatient Neurology experience
  • Experience with EMR, preferrably EPIC

  • Exercises initiative and judgment in selecting the proper treatment
  • Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner
  • Completes documentation and responds to questions from patients and hospital staff promptly
  • Performs hospital follow-up visits (both in person and via telehealth) when needed
