NEUROLOGY OPPORTUNITY IN GRAPEVINE, TEXAS. Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH), the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in the state of Texas, is seeking a Neurologist located in Grapevine, TX. at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine. This is an opportunity to start up an outpatient neurology practice on the BS&W Grapevine campus, serving a vibrant community with a dynamic economy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Start up an outpatient neurology practice on the BS&W Grapevine campus

  • Dedicated Outpatient Practice with shared outpatient call

Requirements:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified in specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
  • BC or BE in Neurology

  • Communicates treatment plan to hospital personnel as well as instructs and counsels patients and families on clinical treatment and care plan to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic testing (i.e., labs, EEGS, etc.)
  • Exercises initiative and judgment in selecting the proper treatment
  • Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner
  • Completes documentation and responds to questions from patients and hospital staff promptly
  • Performs hospital follow-up visits (both in person and via telehealth) when needed
