Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our outpatient neurology team and provide care to our established patients across the Greater Charlotte area at Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology. This is a full-time position that will be focused on Epilepsy as well as Functional Neurologic Disorders.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide care to established patients across the Greater Charlotte area
  • Focus on Epilepsy as well as Functional Neurologic Disorders
  • Provide both direct and indirect care in the ambulatory setting
  • Participate in the education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates)
  • Potential to participate in clinical trials and research visits

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP)
  • Experience in Neurology and/or Psychiatry or Behavioral Health strongly preferred
  • Driven and have passion for innovation and collaboration
  • Patient care driven with strong work ethic and solution-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrating ability and desire to support development and growth of this new program

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in neurology and/or psychiatry
  • Eager to learn, driven, and motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care
