Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Investments, you will lead high‑impact, cross‑functional strategic initiatives that drive revenue, efficiency, and growth for the HPE Networking Business Unit (NBU). You will partner with executive leadership, product, engineering, sales, corporate development, and other HPE business units to identify opportunities, structure and execute deals, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Lead cross‑BU initiatives between NBU and other HPE business units/organizations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
Create, structure, and execute a range of deals (partnerships, investments, M&A) that expand NBU opportunities and address gaps or weaknesses
Identify strategic new business adjacencies and market opportunities, feed M&A and partnership pipelines with prioritized targets
Evaluate incumbent, start‑up, and adjacent competitors and ecosystem dynamics to inform strategy and deal decisions
Drive financial and market analyses, build financial models, and develop business cases that support executive decisions
Produce polished, executive‑level presentations and materials to influence stakeholders and secure alignment
Requirements:
8+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, strategic consulting, VC/PE, or related roles — preferably in technology or telecommunications
Hands‑on experience with financial modeling and deal structuring (partnerships, M&A, investments)
Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic initiatives across business units and commercial functions
Knowledge of large, direct and adjacent competitors and the start‑up ecosystem to inform M&A and partnership sourcing
Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (engineering, physics, computer science) required
MBA preferred
