Job Description:

As a Networking QA Intern, you'll support our Quality Assurance team in validating next-generation networking products and cloud-managed solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in testing, automation, and troubleshooting, while learning from experienced engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with test execution: Help run manual and automated tests for networking features and APIs
  • API validation: Support basic checks for REST, gNMI, and YANG/OpenConfig APIs
  • Automation support: Contribute to scripts or test cases and Continuous Integration Testing (CIT) workflows
  • Issue reproduction: Help reproduce and document defects under guidance from senior engineers
  • Lab setup: Assist in configuring small-scale labs and performing basic traffic or packet capture tasks

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Programming knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, switching/routing)
  • Exposure to Linux environments
  • Interest in APIs (REST, gNMI, YANG) and automation concepts
  • Awareness of QA principles and agile methodologies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have:

  • Academic projects or labs in networking or programming
  • Curiosity about using AI tools like Copilot to assist in technical tasks
