Networking Engineer

Networking Engineer- Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain/secure network infrastructure to include switches, routers, wireless network infrastructure, firewalls and VPN. Provide input and network deployment support for the data center development or client proposal projects. Develop deployment documentation for network systems. Install and configure security and network management software. Ability and willingness to respond to emails after hours in the event of an emergency, and as times work extended hours. Ensure security and privacy of networks. Travel to sites, client meetings, trainings or conferences as requested and required; travel time estimated between 2-3 weeks out of the year. Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule. Identify and resolve network security flaws or inefficiencies. Monitoring system updates and performing routine maintenance. Continuous self-learning of new technology is expected. Special projects as needed.
