Job Description

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL IT is seeking a Network Test Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Review network configuration outputs to confirm correctness
  • Validate connectivity including interfaces and basic packet checks
  • Identify issues and raise formal defects with clear evidence
  • Capture screenshots, configuration extracts, and logs in QMetry
  • Liaise between Test teams and Project Network Engineers
  • Support migration test windows and large-scale network migrations
  • Provide independent validation of connectivity during cutovers

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on testing & assurance
  • Exposure to Cisco environments and ACI familiarity
  • Strong network fundamentals (CCNA-level or equivalent)
  • Experience reviewing configurations and connectivity outcomes
  • Detail-oriented approach to capturing evidence and test results
  • Strong written communication skills for defect reporting
  • Previous experience with enterprise migrations or cutovers
