Job Description:

This role will support cabling, wired and wireless networks, and event-specific network drops for large conferences, trade shows, and public events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, test, and remove network cabling throughout the venue
  • Deploy temporary and permanent network drops for exhibitors, facility staff, guest-access networks, production crews, POS systems, registration desks, and digital signage
  • Support high-density attendee Wi-Fi during live events
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and capacity issues under high-user load conditions
  • Assist with multi-stage load-in, live event support, and teardown activities

Requirements:

  • Experience with network cabling, wired/wireless network support, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in fast-paced live event or large venue environments
  • Familiarity with switches, access points, and network drops
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and event hours

  • Promptly respond to and resolve production issues and/or requests as they arise, collaborating with other MES Technicians and Analysts, as necessary, immediately escalating issues as appropriate
  • Monitor SAP scheduled jobs and server status (Backflush, Production, and Material Management)
  • Monitor and maintain Backup and Database jobs
  • Monitor Network Accessibility: Internal, External, MPLS, and Network, Monitor IDC Equipment
