Job Description

We are working with a client seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer to provide onsite voice and data network support within a secure enterprise environment in Reading. The role requires strong hands on experience with Extreme Networks technologies and the ability to support, maintain, and troubleshoot critical network infrastructure. This is a long term contract within a security cleared environment, suitable for an engineer comfortable working onsite as part of a wider operational network team.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide onsite network support across voice and data infrastructure
  • Support and troubleshoot Extreme Networks environments
  • Resolve incidents, perform fault analysis, and support BAU operations
  • Work closely with internal teams to maintain network availability and performance
  • Ensure adherence to security and operational procedures within a cleared environment

Requirements

  • Strong hands on experience with Extreme Networks (voice & data)
  • Proven background in enterprise network support
  • Experience supporting LAN / WAN / Voice infrastructure
  • Comfortable working in secure, onsite environments
  • Active SC Clearance (or already cleared and transferable)
  • Must be a British citizen (for security clearance eligibility)
