Job Description

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Network Specialist-Solution Design to support the DISA CP program at Whitehall, OH. This role is supporting the swing shift(2pm-10pm)

Job Responsibility

  • Lead planning, investigation, design, and implementation of communications solutions affecting the entire network, ensuring alignment with DISA programs and systems
  • Use DISA processes to integrate solutions across classified and unclassified networks, focusing on system development and network optimization
  • Collaborate with team members, customers, and vendors to identify communication needs (voice, data, image) and deliver software, hardware, and network solutions
  • Create and recommend workprints, schematics, and design tools to depict network structures and solutions
  • Assess customer network usage, recommend media solutions, optimize servers, and ensure configurations meet performance goals
  • Coordinate with government and contractor technicians to manage and maintain network equipment, configurations, and access privileges
  • Support marketing proposals and studies by providing cost models, technical reports, and solution recommendations

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • 2+ years military experience in communications or a related technical field
  • or 2+ years in an accredited technical training program plus 1 year of relevant communications experience
  • or 2+ years professional experience in communications or a related technical discipline is required
  • Must be able to work the swing shift(2pm-10am)
