HSBC is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Consultant Specialist with overall 7+ years of experience in Networking and the ability to architect, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructures, ensuring security, compliance, and seamless global connectivity.

Job Responsibility:

Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructures, focusing on high availability, security, and compliance
Configure and maintain Routing & Switching solutions using Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR
Implement advanced WAN, LAN, and Data Center networking solutions across global HSBC locations
Manage and optimize BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, and QoS to ensure seamless global connectivity
Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple HSBC business units
Utilize tools like Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, Splunk, and Wireshark for real-time network monitoring and optimization
Conduct network risk assessments, audits, and ensure compliance with HSBC’s security policies and regulatory requirements
Knowledge on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python for automated network provisioning
Work in an Agile environment, contributing to Scrum or Kanban teams for iterative network deployments

Requirements:

Deep knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP/CCIE preferred)
Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, VXLAN, SD-WAN
Experience with firewalls, NAC, and Zero Trust security models
Experience with Cisco DNA, Sevone, HPNA, Netscout, Wireshark
Knowledge of Dev-ops tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git
Preferred certifications CCNP, AWS Networking, Cisco Devnet
