Job Description

We are seeking a technically strong and proactive Network & Security Engineer to manage and support enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures. The individual will focus on maintaining and enhancing Forcepoint Proxy and FortiGate Firewall environments while ensuring service stability, rapid incident resolution, and robust operational performance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, handling escalations, and contributing to improvements across network and security operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and support Forcepoint Proxy and FortiGate Firewall environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting across L2–L7 layers, including packet analysis and RCA
  • Lead and resolve L2/L3 critical incidents, outages, and escalations
  • Monitor network and security environments to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain service stability and communicate effectively during incidents
  • Contribute to day-to-day operational activities while promoting seamless coordination and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and security operations
  • Strong expertise with Forcepoint Proxy and FortiGate Firewalls, including policy management, NAT, VPNs, IPS, and UTM features
  • Solid networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching concepts, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPNs
  • Confident in advanced troubleshooting, RCA, packet capture analysis, and managing high-pressure escalations
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, Shell)
  • Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure), enterprise environments, and ITIL-based processes
  • Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA, or CCNP
